Natronai bar Nehemiah
(fl. 8th cent.)
   Babylonian gaon of the academy at Pumbedita (719-30). He married into the family of the exilarch. He was known for his severity with scholars in the academy, some of whom left for Sura, returning to Pumbedita only after his death.
